IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA
The following information is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, disseminate and safeguard the information you provide to us while accessing and using our Site. If you do not agree with our information practices, please do not access or use our Site. By accessing and using our Site, you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how TIM (Treasure Island Media aka TIMGlobal), and all of its properties operated under these names (collectively, “TIM”), collects information from all end-users of TIM’s Internet services (the “Services”)—those who access some of our Services but do not have accounts (“Visitors”) as well as those who pay fees to gain access to the Service (“Members”). It also explains what we do with the information we collect, and the choices Visitors and Members (“Users”) have concerning the collection and use of such information.
TIM reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this Policy and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Users should periodically check for modifications by re-visiting this page and using the “refresh” button in their browser. The “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised; any updated version is effective immediately upon posting.
TIM collects information in different ways from Visitors and Members who access the various parts of our Services and the network of websites accessible through our Service. We use this information primarily to provide and improve the Services and a customized experience. We generally do not share personal information with third parties except as described in this Policy or when we believe such disclosure is required by law.
To comply with applicable laws regulating access to adult content, certain areas of the Site and certain purchases require successful completion of an independent age and identity verification process provided by a trusted third-party service provider. By attempting to access those areas or complete such purchases, you consent to the processing of information necessary to verify your age and identity.
TIM does not collect or store copies of government IDs, biometric data, or other sensitive identity documents submitted during verification. TIM receives only limited verification metadata (e.g., pass/fail status and timestamp) for compliance purposes. If verification cannot be completed, fails, or indicates you are below the minimum legal age, access will be denied.
Members may be asked to provide certain personal information when they sign up for our Services including name, address, telephone number, billing information (such as a credit card number), and contact details. The personal information collected during registration is used to manage each Member’s account (e.g., billing and customer support). Payment information is collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processors; TIM does not store full payment card numbers.
At some of our websites, you can purchase products and services or register to receive materials. You may be asked to provide contact information (such as name, address, email address, phone number) and payment details. If you place an order for someone else (e.g., a gift), you may be asked to provide the recipient’s information to complete delivery. If you order directly from TIM, we use the information you provide only to process that order and share it with third parties only to the extent necessary to fulfill it (e.g., payment processors, shipping providers, fraud-prevention partners).
TIM may display online advertisements or links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or their information practices. Please review those sites’ privacy policies.
When Visitors or Members send email inquiries to TIM, the return email address is used to answer the inquiry. TIM does not use this return email address for any other purpose and does not share it with third parties.
We may periodically conduct customer surveys to improve our Services. Participation is voluntary. Where a third party assists us, your personal information will remain confidential under our instructions and agreements with that third party.
TIM may collect IP addresses, referral URLs, browser preferences, device information, registration forms, surveys, and communications transmitted through site applications. We use this information to operate the Site, improve Services, measure performance, and manage affiliate/advertising programs. We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information (which does not identify you) to third parties for analytics and reporting. We may disclose personal information when we reasonably believe doing so is required by law, contract, court order, or government request.
We may include links to third-party websites in our emails or on the Site. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites. If we co-brand offerings with partners, you will be given an opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of communications from those partners, and such emails will include an unsubscribe option.
Account Credentials
We require an email address, password, and username to use our Services. We may also request a phone number for shipping or order notifications. These credentials identify your account and help us secure it.
Purchases
We collect information necessary to complete purchases (e.g., name, billing and shipping information, email, phone). TIM does not receive or process full credit card numbers directly; PCI-compliant processors handle payment details. Payment transactions use SSL/TLS encryption. We may share limited data with fraud-prevention and detection providers to protect you and us from unauthorized activity.
Mailing Lists
When you sign up for a membership, make a store purchase, or subscribe to a newsletter, we collect your email address (and sometimes name) to send TIM news, service updates, and product information. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
Third-Party Analytics
We use automated devices and applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate use of our Website and Services. To opt out of Google Analytics, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. (If you change browsers/devices or clear cookies, you may need to re-enable the opt-out.) These tools may use cookies and similar technologies and collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage information to provide analytics to us.
Cookies and Log Files
We collect information such as browser type, operating system, IP address, domain name, and timestamps. We also use cookies and URL information to understand pages you view and features you use.
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. “First-party cookies” are set by TIM; “third-party cookies” are set by others to enable features like ads, analytics, or embedded media.
We use:
Session Cookies
Exist only during your online session and are deleted when you close your browser. We use session cookies to process transactions and verify identity after login.
Persistent Cookies
Remain on your device after you close your browser and help us remember preferences and track aggregate statistics.
Local Storage Objects
We may use Flash LSOs to store preferences. See Adobe’s “Global Storage Settings Panel” to manage LSOs.
HTML5 Storage & Pixels
We may store preferences via HTML5 local storage and use clear GIFs/web beacons to measure engagement (including email open/forward rates).
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. The Help menu in your browser explains how. If you disable cookies, most site features (including login) may not function.
Our Sites are designed for adults and are not for use by anyone under 18. We include warnings to make this clear and we take steps to discourage access by minors. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it and terminate any associated access.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Age-verification metadata (pass/fail and timestamp) is retained only as necessary for compliance. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer required. You may request deletion or access to certain data by contacting us (see “Where to Direct Questions”).
Services and websites we sponsor have security measures designed to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control. While we take reasonable measures to safeguard information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You assume the risk of such breaches to the extent they occur despite reasonable measures.
We may share personal information with trusted service providers that perform services on our behalf (e.g., payment processing, age/identity verification, analytics, email delivery, customer support, hosting). These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to TIM and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it. Information we collect may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own; we take steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with applicable law.
You may update account information in your profile, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, adjust cookie settings in your browser, and request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us. We may take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. Some information may be retained as required or permitted by law.
